#Review legacy 9.0 deluxe install#
If you choose to install under the sink, you may want to purchase the special kit designed just for the 9.0 unit.
The 9.0 can be installed both on the countertop or under the sink. The included universal faucet adaptor fits most sink fixtures, which means it can be installed in various locations throughout your home. Like the 7.0, the 9.0 uses the same single activated carbon filter (which is nice if you plan to upgrade from the 7.0 to the 9.0). The plates are also arranged in more than one layer to enhance the machine’s efficiency. The 9 plates add up to an impressive 146.57 square inches total of surface area. The 9.0 stays true to its name with 9 platinum-coated titanium plates, which is two more than the 7.0 model. Also, it matches more modern kitchen decors and kitchens with dark-colored themes. The Aqua 9.0’s LCD display is very similar to the 7.0, but as mentioned earlier, it’s nicer to look at. The warranty upgrade alone may make the 9.0 a better purchase than the 7.0 model. The 7.0 unit comes backed by a 5-year warranty, and the 9.0 gives you the lifetime warranty that we all want when buying an ionizer.
